Springtime in Bournemouth

The Sunshine Coastal resort of Bournemouth is beautifully positioned among pine woods and sheltered by chalk cliffs which makes it one of the premier holiday destinations in the country. There are two thousand acres of colourful parks and gardens, seven glorious miles of sandy beaches and two piers. The 4 star Marsham Court Hotel has an excellent location on the East Cliff overlooking Bournemouth's pier and golden sandy beach, with stunning sea views over the bay. A warm friendly welcome awaits you with a good choice of menu with an attention to detail and helpful staff. All bedrooms are fully ensuite and comfortably furnished, with t.v. radio, hospitality tray and hairdryer. Sea view rooms with a fabulous views across the bay are available but does incur an additional surcharge. There is a lift to all floors, but some rooms are only accessed by stairs, during your stay there will be 2 nights evening entertainment.

Monday

We make an early morning departure for the journey south with suitable refreshment stops, along the way, continuing onto the hotel to freshen up and settle in before your evening meal.

Half Day

To the medieval cathedral city of Sailsbury on market day known as the 'City in the countryside', with its historic streets and alleyways, charming half-timbered buildings crafted with care from another age, characterful shopping streets with high street names alongside independent retailers. The coach will then return to Bournemouth for free time in the afternoon.

Full Day

To Portsmouth a Great Waterfront City with its world-class attractions and centuries of history. You may choose to visit the Historic Dockyard with some of the most iconic ships ever to sail the seas, or The Spinnaker Tower which has unrivalled views across the Solent and South Downs for a truly memorable day out.

Full Day

Travelling through the New Forest National Park with spectacular landscape. Where ponies, cattle and donkeys roam free on our way to Beaulieu which is home of the National Motor Museum with over 285 historic and modern vehicles, also includes entry to Palace House, Grounds and Gardens. Moving onto Buckler's Hard an 18th century shipbuilding village on the banks of the river Beaulieu.

Friday

We bid a fond farewell to our hosts, departing after breakfast making the homeward journey back to Lincolnshire, with suitable comfort stops en-route.
