As the summer season draws to an end Blackpool comes alive with the lights and colour of the 'Greatest free light show on earth'. Visitors, young and old, return year after year to experience this dazzling ever changing display and experience the wide variety of entertainment on offer. Which makes The Adelaide House Hotel the ideal location for this break, in this family run hotel, which is situated just behind the famous Tower, opposite the Winter Gardens, Houndshill Shopping Centre and within easy reach of the promenade with all its amenities. Picking up at local points we make our way to Blackpool with suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving by late afternoon giving you time to settle in and freshen up before your evening meal.

Full Day

To the classic seaside destination of Southport with its Victorian Charm, stroll along Lord Street a tree lined shopping street where picturesque canopies and delightful arcades evoke the towns rich history. Take a stroll on Southport's pier the second longest pleasure pier in the UK.

Full Day

A scenic drive to the beautiful Lake District, taking in breathtaking mountain views, idyllic villages and glittering lakes. Calling at Bowness-on-Windermere with its largest natural lake in England, you may wish to enjoy a cruise on the lake before returning back to the coach for a pleasant journey back to Blackpool.

Free Day

A chance to explore the many attractions Blackpool has to offer including the seafront promenade, enjoy a trip on the famous trams, the iconic Tower complete with Dungeons, Ballroom and floor to ceiling viewing platform and of course the 3 piers on the golden mile.

Friday

After breakfast we start the homeward journey back to Lincolnshire calling at Bury with its award-winning Market in a modern setting a unique shopping experience, close by the Mill Gate shopping centre.
