We make an early morning departure for the journey south with suitable refreshment stops along the way, arriving in plenty of time to freshen up before your evening meal.

Continuing onto the popular resort of Torquay, enjoy a stroll around the bustling harbour or enjoy a walk along the palm-tree lined promenade. Learn more about the life of Agatha Christie who was born here, you may wish to follow her footsteps with a self-guided walking tour that highlights key locations from the crime writer's life and works.
This morning, we take a short stroll to Paignton Station to board the steam train to Kingswear Station. We then board the passenger ferry for a short crossing of the glorious river Dart to the picturesque Dartmouth. Wander around the quaint town with its impressive Navel College overlooking the delightful harbour or take a scenic boat ride on the river Dart. The town has lots of shops, restaurants and cafe's then in the afternoon we return via the ferry and train to Paignton Station.
Today we make the short journey to the quaint town of Brixham steeped in history but is now an important fishing port in the area. You will have plenty of time to explore this wonderful town with its harbour, narrow streets and a real taste of Devon life. Returning to the hotel by mid-afternoon to give you time to explore Paignton before your homeward journey.
We bid a fond farewell to our hosts, departing the hotel after breakfast making the homeward journey back to Lincolnshire, with suitable comfort stops en-route.
